Introduction and Protective Measures of LWG9–252 Type SF6 High Voltage Circuit Breaker Electromotor Circuit

Under humid coastal climate conditions, “Over-current or timeout” signal appears in the process of energy storage, then the electromotor burnout. The phenomenon is common for LWG9–252 type SF6 high voltage circuit breaker. The problems related to relay selection, circuit design, climatic conditions and working condition of heater and dehumidifier. This paper points out that the selection of airbag type time relay is an important cause of the stored energy electromotor frequent burning out. In addition, the optimization suggestions of energy storage circuit are put forward.
