Computational Simulation Of Networks Dynamics In Cancer Cell Adhesion

In this work, we analyze different cell signaling pathways associated with cell adhesion processes altered by cancer, we represent the interaction of different proteins involved in these processes of cell adhesion, as a result of mechanisms of activation, overexpression and regulation. These interactions are characterized by their complexity but the use of computational tools allows to better understand the signaling dynamics in cells affected by cancer. The objective of this work was to develop an computational simulation of several signaling pathways involved in cell adhesion in cancer. Software was used to simulate the signaling cascade with KAF proteins, integrins, cadherins and growth factors, which regulate cancer progression mechanisms. In addition, the interaction of 34 of these types of proteins was represented through graphs, finally obtaining the relevance of those proteins that establish more interactions, indicating their high activity in cell adhesion mechanisms in cancer and enhancing their possibility of becoming targets for therapeutic treatment in cancer.
