Harmonic Analysis in L-G Fault for LCC Based HVDC

The paper shows a Harmonic analysis in L-G fault at inverter side for Line Commutated Converter (LCC) based High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) system. Harmonic analysis has been done based on two conditions i.e. with fault condition and without fault condition. The voltage, current and threshold values are compared and analyzed for both conditions. The analysis is done using FFT analysis for better comparison results. The DC line connecting the two three phase sources has a length of 700 kms. The simulation results have been obtained using MATLAB-Simulink software.
