SIW Based Two Element Semi-Circular MIMO Antenna

In this paper, a two element MIMO antenna based on substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology is explored. SIW technology is a cutting-edge technology of which the PMC wall is responsible for radiation and PEC wall prevents the unwanted radiation loss. Using the concept of PEC and PMC wall a two element MIMO antenna is designed here. Port isolation between two antennas is noticed as -31 dB for resonant frequency. The proposed antenna gives peak gain of 4 dBi.
