The Risk Assessment of System of Systems Considering Multistate Feature - A Case Study on Constellation

In this paper, we focus on the risk of System of Systems (SoS) considering multistate feature. The concept of SoS, the concept of risk of SoS, and the expression of multistate feature in SoS are discussed. Based on these conclusions, the risk assessment model is proposed by using the Markov chain and the universal generating function. In the end, a satellites constellation case is used to illustrate the methodological framework.
