Z-transform Application for Exponential Approximation of Time-Functions

The new method of interpolation/approximation of the time-functions by exponential polynomials (complete and abbreviated), in the general case, by complex polynomials is suggested. A solution is based on the z-transform of the single-variable complex function, which is given by the discrete set of equidistant samples. This problem is solved for the first time for dynamic systems with natural frequencies of any order. The examples of this method application are presented.
