Rigorous Tests of Bell's Inequality and Beyond

We present a rigorous test of Bell's inequality using Rb atoms entangled over a large distance in combination with fast and efficient atomic state measurements. Further we discuss its future perspectives and potential applications in device-independent or self-testing scenarios.
