Research on Phase Differential Demodulation Method of Narrow Pulse MSK Signal

B ecause of conventional coherent demodulation method for MSK system is no longer suitable for narrow-pulse MSK signal, the phase-difference demodulation method is used to solve the problem. By analyzing the traditional coherent demodulation methods, the phase-difference demodulation and the theory of MSK is introduced in this paper. Based on analysis of IFF Mark XIIA Mode5 signal and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) remote control link signal, the simulation and experiment of the MSK phase differential demodulation is carried out. The results show that the MSK phase differential demodulation has the advantages of simple implementation and effective processing, and does not require the MSK signal modulation parameters.
