Wi-Fi Strength Measurement and its Analysis

The project is all about measurement of Wi-Fi signal strength in our college campus. For this we have selected the WLAN named VIT_CAMPUS. We analysed that there are some places in campus where signal is too weak and somewhere dead zones are identified. After that we analysed the router positions and effective distance of transmission of signal from router. For this we had a brief search about the tools available for measuring the signal strength. From those we picked one tool for our study named Wi-Fi analyser by Kweulsoft. Then we measured the signal strength at various positions, floors and rooms in our campus. Then we studied the data, router positions and concluded to a solution.
