Monitoring Multiple Biomedical Parameter to Automate Anesthesia Injector Using FPGA

This paper aids anesthetist to monitor level of the consciousness of the patients by monitoring multiple biomedical parameters. Operation of an anesthetic drug injector machine based on multiple biomedical parameters of patient through hardware reconfigurable device called field programmable gate array which reduces chances of over dosage through effective monitoring and parallel processing. If the level of anesthetic drug in infusion pump reduces to considerable value, the indicator will alert the anesthetist to increase the anesthetic drug inside infusion pump so that the process may continue uninterrupted.
