Assessment of non-stationary harmonic distortion related to adjustable speed induction motor and soft starters

Time-varying harmonic distortion of induction motor soft-starter was exemplarily assessed by most common signal processing techniques like Short-time Fourier Transform, Wavelet Packet Transform and Kalman Filtering. Furthermore the resonance phenomena are considered that appear the grids with power factor correction supplying induction motors with soft-starters.
