Research on Grounding Mode of Ship Medium Voltage AC/DC Hybrid Power System

The medium voltage power system of ship is mainly based on AC/DC hybrid power. In order to prevent the obvious influence on the ship power system from AC side fault, the appropriate grounding mode should be select for the system. Based on ship medium voltage AC/DC hybrid power system with parallel 12 pulse rectifier, through the method of simplifying the circuit of system to ground, the influence of synchronous rectifier generator neutral grounding mode on DC single pole common mode voltage, non-fault phase voltage and fault current is analyzed, the influence of DC side capacitance midpoint grounding mode on the DC overvoltage is analyzed, for the single-phase ground fault of synchronous rectifier generator on AC side. The selection basis of grounding mode of the neutral point of synchronous rectifier generator and the neutral point of capacitance on DC side is carried out, and the correctness of the conclusion is verified by PSCAD/EMTDC simulation.
