Virtual Reality Photo Hunt Game Application for Amblyopia Patient

We propose a virtual reality mobile game application for treating young amblyopia patient. Usually, amblyopia patients need to wear a blindfold on the good side of the eyes so that the patient can exercise more on the bad side. This treatment is very problematic among young children, since they would get annoying easily and take off the blindfolds. Our remedies for these kids is to use a computer photo hunt game. By using virtual reality headset device, we can control the visibility of each of the patients' eye. Our photo hunt game would reduce the visibility on the good side of the eyes so that the patients would have to focus more on the problematic side of the eyes. Our applications are undergoing clinical trial by ophthalmologist to improve the amblyopia patients' treatment.
