Design New Custom Interfaces for Selecting Magnetic Components in Switching Power Supplies

Modern simulators require increased time and rigor for the analysis of modern power electronic circuits. They do not replace experimental measurements, but they support the designers, because allow to analyze various scenarios in a relatively convenient time. However, an analysis based on circuit equations is often more effective. The transient regime and the response to perturbation can be analyzed with customized interfaces and usually provide fast solutions than classic simulators. The present paper comes to analyze the case of switching sources and to justify the use of customized interfaces in concrete situations for design the magnetic components.
