Optimal Co-planning of Park-level Integrated Heat and Electricity Energy Systems

Integrated energy system will enjoy good prospects for development because it enables optimal utilization of electricity and heat as well as effective reduction of environmental pollution and waste of energy. This paper illustrates the topology of integrated energy systems which are connected by heat-net-pipelines. Meanwhile, an optimal co-planning model considering the interdependence between heat and power along with the heating interconnection of energy systems is established. The optimal planning model aims at minimizing the cost including construction investment and operation energy consumption. It also considers constraints like the co-ordination of multi-energy supply and demand, equipment installation capacity and heat pipeline transmission loss. A case study is carried out in this paper and the consequence shows that co-planning considering the interconnection among energy systems and the interdependence of heat and electricity has better economic benefits.
