Mathematical Modeling and Simulation Studies of Selected Components of the Electricity Generation, Processing and Distribution System of Aircrafts According to the Concept of More Electric Aircraft

This paper mainly focuses on the presentation of advanced technological solutions in terms of electricity management on board modern aircrafts of leading aviation companies, both civil (Airbus, Boeing) and military (Lockheed Martin). To this end, the object of the study was analyzed, a mathematical model of the transmission and distribution system of electricity in the scope of its production, processing and distribution was created, and simulation tests were carried out in the Matlab/Simulink program. Particular attention was paid to the solutions implemented on aircraft that implement the concept of a more electric airplane. In the last part of the article, taking into account the analysis made, the mathematical model of the management and transmission system on the aircraft and consideration of simulation runs, practical conclusions were formulated.
