A Lightweight Cryptographic Algorithm using Trigonometric Technique

Electronic communication is increased rapidly so the need of Cryptography is also increased. There are different algorithms are available but some of the algorithms take large amount of time in encryption and decryption. So there is a need of lightweight cryptographic algorithms. In this paper we proposed an algorithm based on Trigonometric concepts which lightweight and provide security by up a great extent by reducing the chances of cryptanalysis. As compared to other algorithms like Hill cipher, Blowfish, DES etc, the proposed algorithm provides better performance. Basic trigonometric concept is used to design the algorithm.
