T-matrix study of optical extinction spectra of bimetallic silver-gold particles in glass

The main goal of this work is the determination of the architecture of bimetallic nanoparticles (pure particles, coreshell or alloyed particles) based on optical extinction spectra. The possibility and limitations of such structural determination is shown by analysis of simulated spectra of nanoparticles with predefined architecture.
