Abstract:
We fabricated Si slot waveguide ring resonators having Q factor of 2.5×104. Based on the resonance characteristics, refractive index sensitivity An of 1×10-5 was theoretically estimated by the difference of transmitted optical intensity at the resonance wavelength.
