Robust Design for Topology Optimized Metasurfaces

We implement robustness control in topology-optimized metasurfaces and show that robust metasurfaces are relatively insensitive to geometric erosion and dilation. We also explore the physical mechanisms enabling robustness through a coupled mode analysis.
