Analysis of SIW 2×2 slot array antennas excited by TE20 Mode

In this paper, three kinds of SIW 2 × 2 slot array antennas excited by TE20 mode are designed and analyzed. According to the field of 2 × 2 point sources array and the characteristics of TE20 mode in SIW, the slots are positioned properly to obtain proper radiation. Then, stimulated by a power divider with 180° phase shifter, SIW slot array antennas excited by TE20 mode are simulated. The results indicate that all have good directivity and the radiation performance declines as the angle between slots and center line of SIW increases.
