A miniature bandpass filter using multilayered pcb technology

In this paper, a miniature bandpass filter is proposed and analyzed. The quarter wavelength resonators are employed to design the proposed for achieving a compact size, and metallic via arrays are used to packaging the proposed filter, which ensures this structure has low radiation loss and self-packaging performance. As a demonstration, a filter with passband from 25 GHz to 30 GHz is implemented on the Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 substrate and measured by using VNA. Good agreement is obtained between simulated and measured results.
