An improved SVD-CBFM for fast solution of multiple incident excitations electromagnetic scattering

In this paper, an improved singular value decomposition-characteristic basis function method (SVD-CBFM) is proposed to efficiently solve multiple incident excitations electromagnetic scattering. ACA-SVD is applied to compress incident excitations to accelerate the generation of CBFs instead of compressing the CBFs in the conventional SVD-CBFM. The numerical example demonstrates that the proposed method is more efficiency than the conventional SVD-CBFM under the same precision conditions.
