Anisotropic Carrier Transport in CH3NH3PbI3 Single Crystal Field-Effect Transistor

By constructing vertical-structured field-effect transistors with CH

single-crystalline films of different orientations, anisotropic carrier transport in CH
₃
NH
₃
PbI
₃
single crystal was observed. Compared with the [100] and [112] orientation, carriers show lower mobility along the [001] orientation. The anisotropy of carrier transport is attributed to the migration of CH
₃
NH
₃
⁺
under electric field.
