Lately, there has been a great deal of scientific, public, and media attention about the health and safety of prolonged human exposure to radio-frequency (RF) radiation, especially with regard to cancer. The situation has been acerbated, in part, by dissemination of a report from a US government-sponsored experimental study [1, 2]. Indeed, release of the laboratory-rat cancer result was deemed as something of a public-health obligation by the reporting government entity: the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences/National Toxicology Program [3].
