Study of Direct Air-Cooled Condenser for Variable Working Characteristics Based on the Simulation Model

Based on the condensation heat transfer mechanism of the direct air-cooled condenser, the dynamic simulation model is established through reasonable system decomposition and simplification. Taking one 200MW unit as an example, the unit's cold end system characteristic curves were drawn, by considering various conditions, including the forced velocity of air, the air temperature, scale thermoresistance in pipe and condenser heat load. The result indicates that the analysis based on the simulation model has enough precision and practicability. It has great value in guiding operation of direct air-cooled units.
