Assessment of coal mine safety based on Bayesian method with entropy weight

Assessment of coal mine safety is the basis of its safe management, not only provides safety precautions against accidents, but also gives proposals for its investment in production and safety management, as well as the improvement of its economic effectiveness. An algorithm, with Bayesian theory combined with entropy weight, is applied to the assessment of safety for a southern coal mine based on 6 indexes. The results show that the algorithm is practical and effective for the assessment of coal mine safety and provides a new and more scientific method for its safety assessment.
