Analysis of the behaviors about scientific research innovation and management in university based on evolutionary game

Scientific research, the representative of a university's comprehensive strengths, is one part of the four significant functions in colleges. Management and incentives to scientific research innovation is a key point to build a positive research atmosphere. This paper, on the premise of bounded rationality, initially analyze the factors that have influence on researchers and management administrations decision-making. we construct a game pay-off matrix about the behaviors of researchers and management administrations based on Evolutionary Game Theory (EGT) and build a replicated dynamic equation. Then, we analyze the evolutionary paths of both sides and factors by using EGT, which reveal the impact of individual selection on group behaviors. In order to study innovative behavior of scientific research systematically and quantitatively, the next step is to develop a simulation system related to scientific research innovation and management on Matlab GUI platform. The analytic procedure of this paper can provide decision support for universities and scientific research management departments. Those bodies are able to choose the best incentive strategy and improve the level of scientific research innovation in colleges and universities.
