Performance of subcarrier intensity modulation over imprecise Gamma-Gamma fading links

Free-space optical (FSO) communication is becoming more popular as it can achieve high data rates. Gamma-Gamma turbulence channel is generally considered as a perfect channel of the FSO link, while the imprecise channel is modelled as a superposition of the perfect channel and a Gaussian random variable. We present bit error rate performance of subcarrier intensity modulated signal transmission over FSO communication systems with an imprecise channel.
