Design of a radiation monitor simulator for nuclear power plant based on DSP

This paper proposes a method based on designing a simulation detector instead of actual radiation detector for generating counting pulse, and a digital processing box is designed to form the radiation monitor simulator system based on DSP. It can simulate the environment of nuclear radiation and realize the comprehensive functions of data acquisition, storage, display, processing and alarm. The principle of the system, the hardware structure and software design method are described. The experimental results show that the design has high accuracy, good performance and friendly man-machine interaction.
