A brief analysis of distributed generation connected to distribution network

Distributed Generation (DG) has the advantages of cleanliness and reproducibility, which makes more and more distributed generations be added to the power system. This paper introduces several common distributed generations. The processing methods of different DG grid-connected nodes are analyzed. Using the Newton-Raphson method, we take the 34 node-bus system as an example to calculate its power flow. The influence of distribution network with and without the DG integration is analyzed, including the voltage and network losses of distribution network.
