Application research for high-speed railway traffic intelligent rescheduling based on chaotic firefly algorithm

Rescheduling high-speed railway timetable is a complex and combinatorial optimization task. In this paper, according to the characteristics of high-speed railway train operation, its intelligent rescheduling model is set up. Chaotic firefly algorithm based on self-logical mapping and mutative scale is introduced to resolve the model. In this algorithm, the chaotic sequence is generated by self-logical mapping function, and then the elites are optimized by the chaotic firefly algorithm that combined with chaotic sequence. Moreover, with the method of controlling search space dynamically, this algorithm can accelerate the convergence speed and avoid getting into the local optimization prematurely. Finally, a test case from Guiguang High-speed railway, the dispatching area between XiaoBi and CongJiang, is emulated. The simulation results confirm the practicability and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
