Appropriate registers' lengths in the fully pipelined design of an optimal space/spatial frequency filter for highly nonstationary two-dimensional FM signals estimation

Fully pipelined, but simultaneously signal adaptive and multiple-clock-cycle hardware implementation of the Wiener space/spatial-frequency Alter has recently been developed in [1]. This solution provides very high resolution, selectivity, and estimation quality of the developed filter in the case of highly non-stationary multicomponent FM signals, but also optimizes the complexity of the implemented system and produces its superiority with respect the time required for execution. In this paper, appropriate format of the input data imported to the fully pipelined design, as well as the appropriate lengths or registers used within the implementation are considered and discussed.
