Monopulse estimation of direction of arrival in case of multiple incoherent sources

The paper presents the non-coherent approach to the problem of determining the angular position of the incoherent sources of electromagnetic radiation (or the Direction of Arrival of the signals) by the passive phased array. In contrast to the coherent approach in case of multiple incoherent sources with complex modulation the interference phenomena occurs due to the time delay between signals. It causes the instantaneous changes in the monopulse processor output that can prevent the proper estimation of Direction of Arrival of the signal of interest.
