Detection of a harmonic signal in a mixture with narrowband interference

A non-parametric rank algorithm is synthesized for detecting a harmonic signal with known frequency and an unknown phase in narrowband interference, where the estimation of the parameters of an autoregressive model is used. The stability of the algorithm to impulse noise is investigated. This algorithm can be used to detect high-speed targets against reflection from the sea surface with a centimeter radar and subject to radio interference.
