RNA secondary structure graphical rendering library

Displaying a secondary structure of an RNA graphically is an important component of every website designed for RNA structure analysis. Internet browsers continue to change because of new technologies, programming languages, and security precautions. For example, RNA secondary structure display applets are no longer supported by the current browsers. As a result, some commonly used applets such as VARNA are no longer functional in these browsers. There is a need for a portable RNA secondary structure display library easy to maintain. We present a new visual model for RNA secondary structure which is simple enough to implement and maintain.
