QRS detection on IOS platform based on single channel practical ECG measurement for remote patient monitoring

In this study, a real time QRS detection of ECG signal is implemented on IOS smart phone in order to determine arrhythmia type heart diseases of ambulatory patients over remote patient monitoring system. Data is measured by single channel, pratical ECG device that is attached to the smart phone and transferred to, monitored, and processed on this phone. In the mobile application developed using Objective-C programming language, QRS detection of received ECG signal is implemented, which is processed according various stages in Pan-Tomkins method. In addition, measured ECG signal is transferred in real time to Monitoring and Server System of the remote patient monitoring system that we have designed and developed before.
