Statistical process control chart as a project management tool

Statistical Process Control (SPC) is the use of statistical tools and techniques to analyze a process or its outputs to control, manage, and improve the quality of the output or the capability of the process. A control chart (or SPC chart) is a tool used for such a purpose and has gained increased importance in the field of project management. In this article, we discuss the use of SPC charts as a project management tool specifically for Information Technology (IT).
