Design of observer-based state feedback control

One step technique for observer-based control design of the discrete-time linear systems with unknown disturbance is presented. It enables to formulate design conditions as the set of linear matrix inequalities constructing the enhanced bounded real lemma structure and stating that the controller-observer parameter separation in design is not strictly required in this case. Since the input, output and disturbance, jointly constrained by the equations of the system, are taking into account, better results considering the closed-loop system performances can be obtained, since they are jointly constrained by the equations of the observed system The example is presented to demonstrate the design advantages of the embraced methodology.
