Evaluation of parallel and real-time processing performance for some vibration signals using FPGA technology

According to the Ilot (Industrial Internet of Things) technology, it is obvious that the complexity and variety of signals used today will be a big problem in the future. Nowadays the signals complexity is growing and this is not just for the communication lines, but also for the processors that are trying to manage them. This idea of data processing, where they are done and after the transmission results, it means to use a small number of bytes for transport. On this strategy, National Instruments innovation is to insert a FPGA circuit between the system architecture with the microprocessor and the data acquisition system. This method allows a large and complex processing in a very low execution time. This study will analyze the performance of the processing time of a type of vibration systems using the National Instruments Compact RIO architecture. Also will be presented a lot of practical analysis on the impact of this in the context of current systems.
