Optimization of control parameters of production refractory materials in tunnel furnace

The paper deals with the optimal adjustment of process control parameters for burning of refractory materials in a tunnel furnace. So-called optimization system with model was used for setting optimal parameters, which includes an optimization algorithm for finding optimal parameters. The paper presents a gradient method application in the said system for determining optimal parameters. Qualitative criteria of material heating are the optimality criterion, which minimizes the temperature difference between the model and the required batch temperature.
