Analysis of the harmonics influence of urban rail transport load on nanning power grid based on ETAP

In order to analyze the harmonics influence of Nanning urban rail transit load on the region public distribution power network, a simulation model of Nanning Line 1 urban rail transit power supply system based on ETAP software was established. In this paper, the research had been carried out from three periods of the night maintenance, the normal operation and the rush hour. At the same time the model had taken into account the location and the distance of each substation, and the influence of the background harmonics. The results showed that the total harmonic distortion of the normal operation period was higher than that of the night maintenance period, and the perk value was the rush hour, regardless of whether or not the background harmonics. With the mutual coupling of the background harmonics, the influence of the rail transit loads at each period on the harmonics of the Nanning region public distribution power network was futher enhanced, at present didn't exceed the national standard limits. The dominant harmonics and the characteristic ones are analyzed. Taking into account the increase of vehicle density and passenger flow in the future, the influenc of the harmonics on the region public distribution power network will be further enhanced.
