Analysis of demand response program impact on prosumers

New demand-side management techniques, such as those of demand response, are currently being studied and tested, with the intent of improving energy management efficiency on electric systems. The white tariff is one type of demand response, and since starting 2018 it will be available to residential brazillian consumers, its impacts are going to be analyzed. Another change on the electric system is the increase in photovoltaic panels adhesion from residential consumers. With this in mind, the impacts caused by the adhesion of the white tariff and photovoltaic panels by residential consumers on an electric feeder are going to be evaluated. The proposed work's main objective is the evaluation of potential impacts caused by the adhesion of both time-of-use tariffs and photovoltaic panels by residential consumers on a Brazilian electric feeder. Powerflow simulations were made with OpenDSS and the programming language Python.
