Study cases of consumers migration from captive energy market to free energy market

The free energy market establishes itself as a potential savings option, a safe and reliable way to acquire electricity for a negotiable amount. Within a production chain, all inputs must be considered as objects of negotiation, in such a way that electric energy must also be considered in such a way. The main advantage is that in this environment the consumer can choose, among several types of contracts, the one that best meets their needs of cost and benefit. This work presents a general and detailed view of how the free electricity market works in the country, as well as some case studies with captive consumers of the local energy company predisposed to become free consumers. In summary, the study carried out will demonstrate the characteristics necessary for the consumers migration from captive energy market to free market, through the proposition of a migration flow chart.
