A study of intention and behavior of using mobile communication software: The case of seniors

As vigorous progress on information technologies and the advanced smart mobile communication devices with popularity of internet, entertainment and communication between people are getting easier and more diversified. Furthermore, the development and application of mobile communication software drastically changed the way people to deliver message or to maintain the relationship. In Taiwan, even seniors are gradually using modern mobile communication network instead of traditional tools. In order to understand the intention and behavior of seniors of using mobile communication software and to know the basis of future development for them, current study is designed to explore the intention and behavior of seniors who use mobile communication software with technology acceptance model(TAM) the theoretical basis. Study architecture includes nine variables which are convenience, use-cost, entertaining, behavioral intention to use, instantaneity, encryption, attitude toward using, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use. Research method is questionnaire survey. Data analysis is used as the main research tool through SPSS 22.0 to detect statistical data sheet.
