Study on radiation field of gyrotron quasi-optical launcher

This paper presents the radiation field of a gyrotron quasi-optical launcher for 94GHz, TE62 mode. The direction of the radiation field and the relative power of diffraction loss at the cut of the launcher were calculated by the vector diffraction theory. Simulation results showed that the angle between the direction of radiation field and the Y axis is 11.36, and the other angle between the direction of radiation field and the Z axis is 60.42 . The relative power of diffraction loss at the cut of the launcher is 2.88%.
