Grading of disparate fruits using fuzzy inference system

Quality of a fruit is very important. Due to the increasing demand in the agriculture industry, the need to effectively grow a plant and increasing its yield is very important. In order to do so, it is important to monitor the plant during its growth period, as well as at the time of harvest. Fruit grading improves the revenue of fruits. In this paper, various feature parameters are reviewed and discussed. Then after, various grading techniques are compared based on their pros and cons. The objective of this paper is to provide the introduction to various grading techniques, components and the current work on an automatic grading system. Researchers has developed many different algorithms for good quality grading and sorting.
