Design and realization of an ETL method in business intelligence project

Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) plays an important role in Business Intelligence (BI) project. Traditional ETL method is inflexible and inefficient when it is used for complex and changeable data transmission. Hence, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of ETL method. In this paper, a new ETL method based on Extract, Clean, Load, Transform and Load (ECL-TL) framework is designed and implemented. The ETL method in appraisal system is also discussed. The application shows that the ECL-TL method improves the efficiency and flexibility of the system.
