Average SINR analysis of mm-wave MIMO system at 60 GHz band using first and second order moments

Using first and second order moments, we derive an expression of output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) for the Millimeter-wave (mm-Wave) wireless communication system over IEEE 802.15.3c channel model at 60 GHz band. The system employs the uniform linear array of analog phase shifters at the transmitter and the receiver to compensate the high propagation loss and severe signal attenuation in the 60 GHz band. In this paper, we compute the inter-path and inter-symbol interferences of mm-Wave signals with the bank of coherent Rake receivers. The paper presents the simulation and analytical results of the average output SINR for residential environment of the IEEE 802.15.3c channel. Additionally, results show the impacts of raised cosine pulse duration and the half power beam width of the transmitting antenna on the average output SINR.
