Water efficient toilet: Setting a suitable automatic flushing duration

At present, a toilet becomes an important part of everyone's life. A toilet bowl is an essential part of any toilet. It is used in managing human waste. When people use a toilet bowl, a clean water is flushed. It can be difficult to predict how much clean water is supposed to be used to clean a toilet blow. It is often that people might use clean water more than necessary. This paper investigates on how much clean water should be used to clean a toilet bowl in one of a public toilet. The data of an automatic toilet bowl flushing system is collected and used to avoid wasting clean water and yet still provide enough water flow to clean a toilet bowl. The results of experiments conducted for several months. It shows that duration of 3.8 seconds is sufficient for flushing clean water in the sample environment.
